My mother and I got together to build this website for her work 7 years ago.. it doesn't seem that long ago. We worked from time to time to update it, and add the photos of the newest additions to the extended family of spirits as it grew. My mother's fast moving affliction with multiple myeloma cancer was a shock to us all. She kept hope to be able to continue on her works up until the end. Even in her last days she made the time to paint a golden version of a meditating mama, of which many still sit peacefully in the studio. Many of her works remain in the studio in various stages of completion, including a whole suspicious tub labeled humorously "raw heads". My mother's artistic legacy continues after she has passed on, her methods of inspiration and creation passed to the adult and younger people who attended her classes and workshops over many summers, autumns, winters and springs. A few of which I fondly remember firsthand, as I was able to be her teacher's assistant a few times over the years.
