 Summer's Song |
Summer stands barefoot, listening joyfully to the song of the newly arrived summer tanager. Perhaps it will be a duet! She is garlanded with the first daisies which have adorned her green silk gown of summer as well. A laced bodice of green velvet leaves is worn over her gown and a yellow cotton petticoat and white pantaloons with eyelet ruffle are worn under. Finished during the very last hours of summer, she is Super Sculpey with a poseable soft body, mohair hair, and her bird is made of painted paperclay. |
